What to do...

I am having a funky day today. I woke up WAY to early. (thanks to my babies) WE took daddy to work, then got a hot cocoa at Starbucks (love the drive thru). Back home to get ready to go see cousins play baseball at JOBL fields. Stopped at Lexi's house to say hi and ended up staying for hour and a half. Then back home, fed girls~ Cheyenne threw tired crazy fit. Bugged the neighbors for a bit(they don't mind, they love us!). Now we are home and I am bored, but mostly TIRED! I had a crazy work week, I basically got my booty kicked this week due to Spring Break and me being by myself behind bar. However, I am not complaining because I made killer money which was nice and much appreciated! I am sitting here listening to my favorite girl DORA in the background wondering how I got here! I sometimes like to sit and think about that; how all of a sudden I am married with 2 great kids, working, cleaning, being the best wife and mom ever. Who said I was and am allowed to be an adult. I wish I could go and live with my mom and dad and pretend that I don't have any responsibilities. That would be fun for a bit huh?I don't really know where I am going with this blog entry, but it's keeping me awake and somewhat coherent. Thanks for listening and helping me procrastinate from doing laundry, going to the store, cleaning the house (I did sweep though). I really wish the girls would magically take a nap so I could too.( see picture) I miss the days when they both slept at the same time and I actually had the choice to either nap or clean or do laundry.(#1 nap!)

Nut Tree Park!

MY best friend Lexi and I took our girls a couple of weeks ago to the Nut Tree play park. Her Fiancee Works at the Fenton's there, so we stopped and had a bite to eat then took the girls to go play and ride the rides. The girls LOVED the merry-go-round. Lexi and I are weak sauce and got queasy on the darn thing!

Our last ride was the Nut Tree Train. WE waited in line a little extra because the conductor had to go (run) to the bathroom. We were enjoying laughing about how long he had to hold it and the way he was running to the bathroom. This is the girls (Shelby~Chey~ Isabella) riding on the train. They had fun and at the end of the ride you go through a little tunnel where they have a bubble machine. That was fun. If any of you moms need a new place to play, this is great. It's small and not too expensive. The kids can ride on almost anything and some things as long as there is an adult or older sibling to go with. It was a great day with just the girls. Mean Mommy!

So I am really mean for taking this picture but I HAD TO! Shelby is obsessed with Dora the Explorer. She found Cheyenne's potty seat the other day and wanted to play with it. (I cleaned it really well) She was sitting on it in the family room and walking around with it. I was finishing drying my hair and I heard the usual scream from Shelby. Assuming it was her older sis bugging her I yelled to Cheyenne to knock it off. Cheyenne said "mom, I'm not doing anything. Mom come ear, mom...mom (laughing) come see Shelby. I walked out to see this. She had gotten the seat stuck on her head!! It was really REALLY funny. She kept trying to get it off and couldn't because her hands were in the way. So I thought "I've got to get a picture of this...this is blog worthy!" She was fine after I helped her take it off and said "mooor" of course. My girls are straight comedy!

Sad Easter Pictures

Well this year wasn't good for Easter Pictures This is the best one I could get of them in their matching play outfits. Cute huh? I was planning on having a darling one of them in their cute yellow church dresses. Shelby fell asleep before church, so Shane stayed home with her while Chey and I went to church. I will get them next week! It's my goal~ I WILL GET A PICTURE OF THE GIRLS! SO until then, enjoy and we hope you all had a great Easter with your loved ones.

MAUI 2009!

SO after being back from our dream vacation in Maui, we have decided to go back next February! My mom has been miserable since( along with the rest of us) and she wants all of us to do it again! I am all for it. Just knowing that we will be on the beaches of Maui in less that 11 months makes me so stinkin' excited!! ALOHA!

Hide and Seek

So have you ever lost your child in your own home? Well I did the other day. I knew Shelby was playing in the girls room and I asked cheyenne to go and check on her. She said "she's fine mom." About 5 minutes went by and I asked chey to go and check again (way too quiet). She came back and said she's not there. Now, our house is not that big and we would have seen her if she left the room...so where was she? After about 5 minutes of FREAKING OUT and calling her name. Shane even joined in on the search. I finally heard a little giggle. I looked under Shelby's crib and there she was! She actually hid and was waiting for someone to find her!!
This is the sneaky snake finally coming out from under the crib. She was quite content under there with a big smile and all! Crazy kid!

Chocolate cont'd...

I know what you are all thinking, "she finished the WHOLE BOX! What a piggy!" Yes, I know, but you have all done it. They were good, really good. Please don't forget that I DID have a helper..(Cheyenne) AS I look back on that yummy box of chocolate, I miss them dearly, but I am glad that they are finally gone.

You know when you have a very desirable treat in your house...well in our house it doesn't stay long! WE brought home some yummy chocolate covered macadamia nuts from Maui.

This is the box just barely opened, the chocolate smell had filled the air!

Cheyenne was my partner in crime helping me eat and eat the yummy nuts! We were enjoying them way too much....

WARNING!!!!

Hello to all my bloggers! I just wanted to warn all of you to a naughty thing that someone tried to do to my computer today. I was reading my comments and had one from a "Vincent" something. I clicked on it cause I thought it might be someone from my past or a friend of a friend commenting. Well, it wasn't..when I clicked on it, it shut down my whole computer (not completely, but back to my screen). I freaked out and immediately started my spy ware and antivirus stuff to try and stop whatever happened or was going to happen. I think everything is fine, I have no known viruses as of yet. PLEASE be careful and DON'T open anything or any comments from anyone that you don't know or think you might know!! This has never happened to me before and I am ticked that my sanity outlet could be compromised! I just thought you all would like to know. If anyone has heard of this name or knows anything about it to help me stop it in the future, let me know! Otherwise...have a great Weekend!!

Back to "peaches"

In case anybody cares, we are fine! It was a late night and we were both tired. We are back to everything being peaches and cream! Marriage is a tricky thing sometimes. As long as there is love and 'eventually' understanding, then you got a good thing. Thanks to those who gave me a smile with their comments. It nice to know that even though my friends can't be here to give me a hug, I still feel like I got one.

Crying

So here is another question for thought~ Why is it that when you cry at night and then go to bed, you wake up
A. more tired that you actually are?
2. looking like you're a boxer and just got the %@*! beat out of you?
This is just more food for thought, I am struggling with a few things right now like timing and my husband being a little insensitive to my feelings about a certain subject. I'm sure some of you can figure it out. Anyway, I would post a picture but I fear that i will no longer have friends after you see my face right now on the internet. I am not that brave!

A Whale Of A Time!

This was our great Whale Adventure! It was just our family on the boat (all 24 of us). We had the best time! This was by far the most amazing experience I have ever had with nature... None of these pictures were zoomed, the whales were having fun showing off to us.

Shane got this great picture of the male coming up for air..he ever got the mist from his blow hole!
It was amazing how clear the water was...like a swimming pool!

Question?

SO I have a question to all you blogger that are WAY better at this than me (i.e. Chloe, Denae, Kirstin, and whoever else). I really want to change my background of my blog~how do I do that? I tried today to Google sites of different templates, but when it all came down to it~Ashley not know what to do?! SO , oh and also...is there a way to save your links to your friends blogs, and whatever else you have on your blog pages? Please help me. I am getting really addicted to blogging and I want to be as cool as the rest of you.
I actually figured out how to add music to my blog~ I was very proud of myself even though it took me way to long to figure out. I am a bit slow in that area, I think too hard about this kind of stuff and then my brain goes crazy and I start to analyze and then I start to think what it's telling me to do is something different! Crazy and stupid? Yes..I know.
